This new car you are buying has a small reputation. Tested at home, it ran with no competition and with middling performance. Not one single car magazine has done a report on its highway performance because it has never been on the highway. Its been shown in a number of show rooms to popular acclaim, but few have seen its internal workings. But, the public has been assured by its makers that it does, indeed, have internal workings. Because it is shiny and Italian made, you assume it has enough power and will give a good account of itself. Well, maybe si, maybe no. Another choice is an award winning Ford, a champion on the race course, much written up - good and bad. A master on curves, but a little hard to handle. A known performer, but a little out of style. Now, the stakes are high and there is no going back. You choose the Italian job and I choose the Ford. Which of us is taking the foolish jump and the greater risk?"
